Sher Afzal Jafri, known by his pen name "Jafri," was an Urdu poet from Jhang, Punjab. Born in 1909, he wrote across a range of poetic forms including ghazals and nazms, with much of his work touching on themes of love, loss, and social reflection. He remained active in Jhang's literary circles throughout his life and passed away in 1989 in his hometown.
